The New Trusted Seller Badge

In November 2023, we introduced the new dealer badges, which allow you to showcase your excellence directly in your listings. After receiving a lot of positive feedback, we're adding another badge to the list: the Trusted Seller.

Only dealers who are established on Chrono24 and meet both our high standards and all legal requirements will receive this badge. This is yet another way for you to show potential buyers that you’re trustworthy. As you may know, the Trusted Seller label is not new. Many dealers on Chrono24 have been using the designation in their own advertising for a long time, with great results. We decided it was time for a rebranding, which is why we’ve now modified the criteria for earning Trusted Seller status and integrated the distinction into our dealer badges.

Requirements for the Trusted Seller Badge

Requirements may vary, depending on where your business is located. To learn more about the criteria that apply to you, visit the “Dealer Program” section under “Badges” in your Market Portal.

There are currently five requirements:

You have successfully completed the trial phase and been a member for at least 3 months.

All taxpayer information we need has been provided, and is complete and up-to-date. This information needs to be confirmed and/or updated every year.

Your DAC7 information is complete and up-to-date.

You're in compliance with the German Packaging Act (VerpackG) and have licensed your packaging in advance. This only applies if you ship packaged products to consumers in Germany.

You've been verified by our payment service provider.

Note on the German Packaging Act: Please remember to license your packaging for 2024. We have another promo code available to you for 10% off. Where to Find the New Badge

You’ll find the Trusted Seller badge along with your other badges in the Dealer Program section of your Market Portal. You will also be able to see if you meet all the requirements for the badge. If you do, potential buyers will see the Trusted Seller badge in your listings.

We regularly check to make sure all criteria are met.

To ensure that only dealers who meet all legal requirements and our own high standards receive the Trusted Seller badge, we regularly check to make sure all criteria are met. We will notify dealers when the necessary information is out of date, and give them four weeks to comply with the requirements. If a dealer fails to do so during that time, they will lose the badge.
