Reply faster, sell more: Introducing Message Templates

Message Templates lives in the Chrono24 Dealer App messaging interface. You’ll find it by tapping the / icon next to the + symbol in any conversation. Note: This feature is not yet available in the web version of our messenger.

To create a template:

• Tap the / icon in any conversation
• Select Create first template (or Add template if you already have some)
• Give your template a shortcut (e.g. /shipping) and write your message
• Save — it’s ready to use immediately

To use a template:

• Open a conversation
• Type / followed by your shortcut, or browse your saved templates
• Select the template, personalise if needed, and send

The best templates are replies you find yourself writing repeatedly. Here are some example suggestions to get you started: 

Shipping information 

Shortcut: /shipping 

Thank you for your message. We ship worldwide using [courier name] with full insurance and tracking. Delivery to most destinations takes 3–5 business days. All watches are packaged in a secure, discreet box. Please let me know your location and I can confirm the exact shipping cost. 

Watch condition and authentication 

Shortcut: /condition 

The watch is in [excellent / very good / good] condition. All original parts are intact, and the movement has been serviced. We provide full documentation including original box, papers, and a certificate of authenticity. High-resolution photos are available on request — just let me know which angles you’d like. 

Timeframe and availability 

Shortcut: /available 

The watch is available and ready to ship immediately. Once payment is confirmed, we dispatch within one business day. If you’re looking for a specific delivery date, let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate. 

International buyers 

Shortcut: /customs

We ship internationally and have experience with customs declarations for your region. Import duties or taxes may apply depending on your country — these are the buyer’s responsibility. We recommend checking your local import regulations before purchasing. Happy to answer any questions about the process. 

Follow-up after no reply 

Shortcut: /followup 

I just wanted to follow up on my previous message in case it was missed. I’m happy to answer any additional questions about the watch if that would be helpful. Looking forward to hearing from you.

• Keep them warm, not robotic. Templates save time on the facts, but a brief personalised line at the start goes a long way. 

• Use placeholders. Write [courier name] or [X days] where details vary. The app lets you edit before sending. 

• Start with your top three. Think about the three questions you answer most often and build from there. You can always add more. 

• Review them occasionally. If your shipping carrier changes or you update other information, check that your templates still reflect current information.
