Over the past few months, we've received an increasing number of reports about high-quality counterfeit TAG Heuer watches. To protect you from potential financial harm, we want to provide you with the following information.
This issue primarily affects models in the following collections:
- TAG Heuer Aquaracer
- TAG Heuer Formula 1
- TAG Heuer Carrera
For this reason, we recommend that you check these TAG Heuer watches with particular care. We’ve also received reports of cases where counterfeit watches have been distributed by wholesalers. The counterfeit watches are of very good quality, manufactured with great precision. Some are even equipped with movements from reputable manufacturers like Sellita – making these fakes even harder to identify. Furthermore, it appears that some of the serial numbers on these counterfeit watches have been activated in the TAG Heuer warranty database. It’s therefore likely that the counterfeit watches have valid serial numbers taken from authentic TAG Heuer watches that have already been activated by the brand and subsequently used more than once. A simple check of the warranty card won’t provide the desired level of security.
