Complete Your Company Profile for the New EU Directive DAC7

On January 1, 2023, the new EU Directive 2021/514 (DAC7) went into effect. This law obligates us to provide the German Federal Central Tax Office (BZSt) with information about sellers registered on our digital marketplace. This includes information pertaining to all income earned through Chrono24 from 2023 onwards, as well as your taxpayer ID number(s).
In order to meet the new legal requirements, we need additional information from you about your company.
To make this process as easy for you as possible, we’ve set up a separate page in your Market Portal. Please review the information we already have and provide any missing information.
Important: If you are not based in the EU and do not have an EU taxpayer ID number or a permanent facility in the EU (e.g., branches, warehouses, etc.), please let us know. In this case, we do not require any additional information from you.
Please note that the law requires us to restrict your sales activity if your company profile is not completed by 6/26/2023.
What We Need From You
Please review the basic information you’ve already entered in your account:
- Your company address
- its legal representative(s)
- your bank details for payments
If your company is a legal entity, and you have a commercial registration number, please add this number to your profile,if you have not already done so.
Finally, we need your taxpayer ID number (or tax number for permanent facilities in Germany). Please enter at least one number linked to your company. Important: If you have taxpayer ID numbers in other EU countries, you must provide these additionally. This may be the case, for example, if you operate facilities in different EU member states.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call or email your personal contact.
